Rodgers & Company started
constructing residential and irrigation supply wells in Albuquerque’s
South Valley in 1946. Since that time, the company has installed and
maintained thousands of wells and has developed a reputation as a
service-oriented company that makes customer satisfaction a top
priority.
Our standard residential system includes a 4-in. diameter PVC cased
well, submersible pump, pressure tank and control system. The pumping
system design is tailored to meet specific needs and typically employs a
submersible well pump, galvanized drop pipe, pressure tank and pressure
switch. Some residential systems, in particular those that supply
multiple homes, incorporate a static storage tank and booster pump.

Residential wells may range in depth from 150 ft to 1,200 ft depending
on the area, water quality and depth of the aquifer. Regardless of the
size of the well, each one is constructed using top quality materials,
including high efficiency slotted casing, washed silica sand filter
pack, Baroid© bentonite seals, and
cement surface seals.
Rodgers &
Company residential wells conform to current New Mexico Environment
Department and New Mexico State Engineer Office standards of
construction.
Recent advances in small pump technology have introduced variable speed
pumping systems to the residential market. This technology provides near
constant water pressure at the tap rather than the normal 20-psi
variance between pump cycles. Customers selecting the variable speed
systems overwhelmingly report satisfaction with their systems.
